Total Kitchen Remodel - Newport News

This job was for a bank that invested in a foreclosed property in Newport News. The goal was to upgrade the kitchen to increase the overall quality and value for the house. We began from scratch, down to the bare walls and floors. Since the house was not sold at the time, we had the luxury to design the kitchen to the best of our capabilities.

The kitchen was not square and was at a diagonal for the floor. We installed a light colored ceramic tile, to match the rest of the theme we had planned for the kitchen cabinets, appliances, and tile back splashes, along with the adjacent hardwood floor in the dining room, and the light colored carpet to the adjoining living room.

The countertops were hand-made granite material that gave the kitchen a nice look than standard countertops.

Overall, we were very pleased with the outcome and it was a delight to use our own imagination.

Small Hampton Kitchen Remodel - Hampton

This was a small and basic kitchen remodel. The owners were actually investors and wanted a basic remodel of the 20 year old kitchen at a reasonable cost.

We first needed to demo the outdated floor, cabinets, and appliances. All the walls were 90 degrees, so we decided for a basic square ceramic floor pattern using 12" x 12" tiles. We used a light color scheme with the floors and countertops, darker cabinets to bring a little life into the room.

We were able to give the owners a quality kitchen look and were able to work within their budget.

Total Bathroom Remodel - Williamsburg

This customer was tired of the simplistic and boring look their bathroom had and wanted a modern upgrade. The project involved removed all the fixtures, flooring, and cabinets. After discussing desires and recommendations, the customer chose her design and we began the installation process.

Client requested a double vanity and stressed her needs for decorative tile throughout the entire bathroom. After choosing the tile and decorative pieces, we installed ceramic tile in the shower, floors, and borders around the tub.

We installed white cabinets with brass hardware and agreed that a light green color would really bring out the beauty of the tile and the rest of the bathroom. When everything was finished she was extremely pleased that we were able to make her bathroom not just a place of necessity, but make it an enjoyable experience, as well.

Total Bathroom Remodel - Newport News

We installed a light colored ceramic tile, to match our theme for the entire house and used a smaller and different color tile to outline the top of the tub.

Within the bathroom area there was a closet with a 45-degree wall that posed some problems with a basic floor tile design. We decided to change the pattern to keep from being redundant and give the bathroom a little pizzazz.

We gave the cabinets a little darker color to give a little contrast to the color scheme of the bathroom. We used white medicine cabinets along with some decorative fixtures to add to the overall diversity that many owners crave.

Small Bathroom Remodel - Hampton

This bathroom's floor was damaged from leaks from the old tub and old water pipes. Our goal was to rebuild the flooring system underneath to structurally bring it up to code and prepare it for a new tub, vanity, and toilet.

The drywall and the vinyl tile were compromised and had to be removed. After we completed the flooring structure, we installed a basic pattern of vinyl flooring, and standard tiling above the tub.

Although this was a small job, our goal was to give the customer a satisfactory job without any elaborate tile or cabinetry installed.
